The Custom Date Date Range option now allows running all reports for more than one year.
Running multi-year reports is particularly useful when performing employee training audits, OSHA retention analyses, or comparing trainees' assignments over a number of years.
Reports run for multiple years will typically take longer to complete than for shorter date ranges depending on the size of the date range, size of database, and number of parameters. The system produces a timeout message if the amount of data is too large to process. The report parameters are displayed on the screen to allow you to redefine your selections and run the report again.
Scheduled Reports can also be run for more than one year, however, a good practice to follow before scheduling a report is to first run the report ad-hoc to be sure the report does not time out with the parameters you have selected.
Keep in mind that as your database grows over time, report parameters that ran quickly six months ago may take longer today.
